If Peter Doocy keeps it up, he will go down as the greatest White House press corps member of all time.
He has somehow managed to ask very pointed questions while doing so respectfully and even adding some humor at times.
Doocy is the antithesis of what Jim Acosta of CNN was doing while interviewing Trump.
Tough But Fair
I have been hard on Doocy at times because I believe he sometimes lets Biden and KJP off the hook too easy.
At the same time, I understand he cannot be overly aggressive because they will never call on him again.
To that point, he had one of his best exchanges with KJP, once again leading to her not answering his actual question, exposing the lack of transparency of this administration.
Doocy got KJP to let her guard down by asking her what four-letter word she thought of when another set of documents were found at Biden's house.
KJP actually laughed, then Doocy came out firing, wondering what the "precedent for people running for president after the FBI searched their sock drawer?"
That got under her skin a bit. As usual, instead of answering the question asked, she deflected, stating, "Here's what the president's going to focus on. He's going to focus on continuing to deliver for the American people. That's his focus. That's what he focuses on every day."
Along with insisting that even though Biden had documents stashed in four unsecure locations he takes classified documents very seriously, she added, "The president has been very clear that he takes this very seriously when it comes to classified information, when it comes to classified documents, and that his team has been fully cooperative with this legal matter."

Doocy, in my opinion, is doing about a good job as he can under the circumstances.
It is just a shame that more journalists are not following his example.
