Pentagon Issues ‘Climate Literacy’ Poll to Military and Civilian Staffers

Why is our military so obsessed with the "woke" agenda?

That is the question we keep asking, especially with this latest report.

According to a Fox News report, the DoD issued a survey to civilian employees and the military on climate change.

The Survey

According to Fox News, the survey was called the 2022 Climate Literacy Pulse Check.

Fox News reported, "The questions went out to thousands of recipients, and DOD described it as a short, voluntary poll that would be used to make sure the department is able to protect U.S. national security in light of changing climate conditions."

Cmdr. Nicole Schwegman, a Pentagon spokesperson, stated, "As we train and educate our service members to fight and prevail against our adversaries, so too must we ensure our service members have the knowledge to ensure mission success in the face of a changing climate."

She continued, "To ensure the United States armed forces retain their warfighting edge and remain the world's most lethal and capable fighting force, the Department of Defense worked with the Office of Management and Budget to craft a short, fully anonymous, at-will questionnaire – not a survey – to assess the degree to which the DOD workforce feels it is capable of executing its mission in the context of a changing climate."

How does climate change give battlefield warriors a "warfighting edge?"

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) called it a distraction.

He stated, "The Department of Defense should not be wasting our service members' time with surveys on climate change.

"The military should not be distracted from its mission of maintaining the most lethal and capable force in the world."

We agree.
