Pentagon IG Says It Will Investigate Whistleblower Claim on Afghan Vetting

Afghanistan may finally come back to bite Joe Biden.

The Pentagon Office of Inspector General (OIG) announced it is now investigating another whistleblower claim.

This being the recent revelation that evacuees from Afghanistan were not properly vetted before being permitted to enter the country.

Uh Oh…

That sound you just heard was the top Biden officials' jaws hitting the floor.

We were told by all of them that every evacuee was fully vetted before being brought to the United States.

I can still see General Milley on the evening news slamming reports that the administration was taking short cuts to speed up processing.

As it turns out, that is exactly what they were doing.

Senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Josh Hawley (R-MO) were alerted to the issue by a whistleblower report.

The acting IG, Sean O'Donnell, informed the two Republicans that allegations "that hundreds of Afghan evacuees were allowed to enter the United States despite appearing on the DoD's Biometrically Enabled Watchlist, and that officials at the National Security Council and DoD did not follow proper procedures when processing evacuees in Afghanistan and at staging bases."

Of the more than 76,000 Afghans brought to our country, the report stated that 324 were on the Pentagon's watchlist.

This included people who were known or suspected terrorists.

A prior report from the IG found that at least 50 people with "potentially serious security concerns" were permitted to enter the United States.

The report also found that officials could not locate numerous individuals already released with "derogatory information" on their record that would have blocked them from entering the country.

Translation, we could have dozens, if not hundreds of terrorists roaming free in this country right now thanks to Joe Biden.

According to the Biden administration, "rigorous and multi-layered screening and vetting process [which] begins overseas and is conducted by intelligence, law enforcement, and counterterrorism officials from across the U.S. Government — including from the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and State; Federal Bureau of Investigation; National Counterterrorism Center; and other Intelligence Community partners."

That, as we now know, was a complete lie.

This all started to come about after FBI Director Wray raised concerns, stating, "This was a massive number of people to be vetting in an extraordinarily short period of time.

"And, inevitably, it raises concerns."

This is a big hit against Biden only one day after the DHS IG report stated, "We determined some information used to vet evacuees through U.S. Government databases, such as name, date of birth, identification number, and travel document data, was inaccurate, incomplete, or missing. We also determined [Customs and Border Protection] admitted or paroled evacuees who were not fully vetted into the United States."

Let's see how Joe tries to wiggle out of this one.
