PA Supreme Court voids previous mail-in ballot ruling

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has made a BOMBSHELL of a decision that has likely left former President Donald Trump cheering!

The court has decided to enforce a date requirement on all Pennsylvania ballots sent in via mail!

Now, all voters in the state who wish to send in their decisions by mail MUST write the date they cast their vote on the envelopes of their ballot, or theirs will NOT be counted!

“The Commonwealth Court lacked subject matter jurisdiction to review the matter given the failure to name the county boards of elections of all 67 counties,” wrote the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in the new order.

While Democrats are obviously upset, including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro who called the court’s decisions “unfortunate,” most Republicans are thrilled at the news!

Upon learning the court’s decision, Shapiro said that “it should be clear that voters who make an inconsequential dating error deserve to still have their valid vote counted.”

Shapiro was not alone in his opinion.

“These eligible voters who got their ballots in on time should have their votes counted and voices heard. The fundamental right to vote is among the most precious rights we enjoy as Pennsylvanians, and it should take more than a trivial paperwork error to take it away,” said ACLU of Pennsylvania’s senior supervising attorney, Steven Loney.

RNC chairman Michael Whatley, however, said this is a “huge win.”

“This is a huge win to protect the vote in Pennsylvania that will protect commonsense mail ballot safeguards and help voters cast their ballots with confidence,” Whatley said.

As of now, there are challenges to the state's Supreme Court’s decision underway, but whether they will go anywhere has yet to be determined.

Would you like to see this decision stay or go?
