Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is very worried that she is about to get erased from history.
I would imagine that one of the things that Pelosi is most proud of during her time as Speaker was the double impeachment of Donald Trump in the House.
Well, current Speaker, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and his fellow Republicans are toying around with the idea of expunging those impeachments, and Pelosi is going on the attack.
Playing Politics
Pelosi was doing the Sunday morning media circuit this weekend where she chose to address the idea of expunging the impeachments.
She stated, “Kevin is, you know, playing politics. It is not even clear if he constitutionally can expunge those things. If he wants to put his members on the spot, his members in difficult races on the spot, that is a decision he has to make. But this is not responsible,” reported CNN.
Pelosi continued, “This is about being afraid. As I’ve said before, Donald Trump is the puppeteer and what does he do all of the time but shine the light on the strings. These people look pathetic,” reported Politico.
The interview was amusing, to say the least, because it just proved that Pelosi and her fellow Democrats live in some sick fantasy world.
They promote racism, yet she stated, “Something is wrong with that picture, and it’s larger. You see the racism that is happening in our country. What has happened to the Republican Party that they have taken it to this?”
Every attack Democrats make has bigotry at its heart, yet they blame Republicans for racial unrest in this country.
And when it comes to playing politics, was anything more political than the Trump impeachment hearings?
Donald Trump was and is a threat to the political establishment in this country, which is why they are terrified of him. They do not want outsiders in this group.
What they want is people who have been groomed, who have come up through the ranks, and they have just as much dirt on them as they can throw on someone else, so they just keep their mouths shut about it all.
Then Trump came along, and he upset the apple cart, so the establishment on both sides united to keep him out.
These people cannot be trusted… not a single one of them.
