Pelosi Now Begging Dems to Share Donations

Down the stretch, Republicans are crushing Democrats with fundraising efforts.

This would seemingly reflect national opinion right now, as voters seem more likely to support Republicans on key issues than Democrats.

Having said that, there are still some very popular Democrats in deep blue areas that are raking it in, and House Speaker Pelosi wants them to share their bounties.

Give It Up

The NRCC currently has $92.3 million on hand, compared to the same Democrat arm that has only $59.2 million.

That gives the GOP a massive advantage in terms of ad buys going into the final two weeks of the election season.

Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) are now pushing for Democrats holding cash to give it up to the party.

Hoyer sent a letter to "safe" Democrats, stating, "Having traveled to fifty-seven districts across twenty-six states so far this election cycle, I have seen the determination and energy of our frontline incumbents and red-to-blue candidates first hand."

He continued, "If, for example, all our non-frontline members contributed 10% of their cash on hand, it would amount to almost an additional $23 million that we could use to protect and expand our majority."

We have seen resistance to this in the past, especially among Squad members, who love to hoard their cash even though most of them are in deep blue territory and in no danger.

Democrat leadership is panicking... it's that simple.
