Pelosi Confesses She and Biden Still Have Not Spoken
It is widely believed that Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was behind the cabal that forced Joe Biden to withdraw from the election.
Pelosi and Biden have been friends forever, two of the oldest members in Congress, but her ouster efforts clearly strained their relationship.
To that point, she and Biden have reportedly not spoken since.
No Need
For a member of leadership and a sitting Democrat president to not be speaking is saying something.
And even though Pelosi is no longer the acknowledged leader in the House, she is still one of the big shot-callers.
It seemed pretty clear that Biden was not happy with her when he was given what many of us believe to have been an ultimatum.
That was more than likely to step down from the election, or else.
The “or else” was likely a threat to use the 25th Amendment to have him forcibly removed from office and destroy his legacy.
The alternative was to stay in office, be hailed as a hero, and be able to walk away with some dignity.
What Biden surely did not count on was being pushed aside in terms of the campaign.
During several interviews, you can just tell that Biden did not take this lightly.
We have all had fights with friends, but they are usually over in a few days or weeks, but this has been months, and these two are responsible for running the country, yet they still have not spoken.
This was confirmed by Pelosi, who stated that “not since then, no,” they have not spoken.
She added, “I have the greatest respect for him. I think he’s one of the great consequential presidents of our country.
“I think his legacy had to be protected. I didn’t see that happening in the course that it was on, the election was on. My call was just to: ‘Let’s get on a better course.’
“He will make the decision as to what that is. And he made that decision. But I think he is at some point of unease because we’ve been friends for decades.
“Elections are decisions. You decide to win. I decided a while ago that Donald Trump will never set foot in the White House again as president of the United States or in any other capacity … So when you make a decision, you have to make every decision in favor of winning … and the most important decision of all is the candidate.”
I generally do not buy books from politicians on the left once they leave office, but I have to admit, I am anxiously awaiting the tell-all books that will come out about this administration.
I have a feeling some dark truths will be told over the next few years, and it is not going to paint a pretty picture for the Democrat Party of this administration in terms of what was covered up and how certain departments were weaponized.
