Paul Pelosi Attacker Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison

The Pelosi family is likely rocked by emotion after having to revisit the violent kidnapping of Nancy Pelosi's husband.

David DePape, the man who attacked Paul Pelosi, the husband of the former speaker of the House, has been sentenced.

DePape will spend THIRTY YEARS behind bars for his crimes.

For those who may not know, DePape attacked Paul Pelosi with a HAMMER at the Pelosi’s California home in the fall of 2023.

DePape also attempted to kidnap Nancy Pelosi.

When he showed up at the home, Paul Pelosi said he asked one question -- two words.

Where’s Nancy?

Did we mention why DePape was there in the first place?

According to DePape, he was there to talk about Russians interfering with the last presidential election.

DePape also happens to be a former nudist activist from Canada.

It is hard not to draw the conclusion that DePape has a couple of loose screws.

Thankfully, the former Speaker of the House was not anywhere around at the time of the attack.

Despite being sentenced to three decades locked away, Pelosi’s lawyers are NOT satisfied.

“The defendant planned and unleashed violence and has stayed true to his belief that his actions were necessary. The sentencing factors compel the statutory maximums recommended here and demonstrate that the 30 years maximum on the count with the most significant statutory maximum is not sufficient to meet the sentencing goals,” case prosecutors wrote in a recent statement.

Maybe even more shocking than the lawyers not being satisfied for the sentence of 30 years is the apology from DePape.

“He was never my target, and I’m sorry that he got hurt,” DePape said.

Does this mean DePape was planning on going after Nancy Pelosi alone?

Regardless of how you may feel about Nancy Pelosi and her decisions in the political world, you have to agree that violence is never the answer.

It must have been terrifying to have your family attacked by a stranger right at your very own home.

We hope that the Pelosi family is able to regain some sense of security and normalcy.

We are also glad that Paul was not harmed more than he was in the attack.

Do you think DePape got enough time for his crime?
