The title of the show may have been "Everybody Loves Raymond," but...
Now, the actress that played her, Patricia Heaton, is showing that being the only adult in the room isn't something that is restricted to her television character.
Patricia Heaton has lived a live that most of us could only dream of. She's starred in multiple successful sitcoms. She's so successful, in fact, that her 209 episodes starring as Debra Barone wasn't even the biggest role of her career.
One of her next sitcoms, The Middle, was arguably even more successful than Raymond. She starred as Frankie Heck on The Middle for a whopping 215 episodes.
That's not all though, she even had her own sitcom with Kelsey Grammar, named Back to You.
That's a list of achievements that would define almost anyone in the world.
But it doesn't define Patricia Heaton.
And she's begging her followers that no matter how disappointed they are in the lack of a red wave on November 8, we remember that our political affiliation is NOT where our value comes from.
"For those of you who are Christians and who feel disappointed or despairing of the election results, it is a blessing to be reminded that our security does not rest in men or governments, which are finite and will eventually crumble, but in God alone who is ever sustaining," Heaton said.
Obviously, the enemy was upset with her take. To say Patricia handled it well is an understatement.
I absolutely believe God’s will is at work, regardless of who is in power. Some Christians happy with the results, some Christians sad. But no Christian should put their faith in the government for their hope.
