She was considered “controversial” in her day, a true trailblazer, singing about things women were not supposed to sing about.
She talked about a cheating husband, drinking, sex, marriage, and everything else you can think of.
If Loretta was one thing, she was 100 percent real with her music, giving the entire world an honest look into her life.
Lynn was married to Oliver Lynn for nearly 50 years, leaving behind six children, 17 grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren.
She may have left us, but her legacy will surely live forever.
Rest in peace, Loretta, you were truly special.
