The Atlantic Asks for Pandemic Amnesty

I just read one of the most ridiculous articles I have ever seen coming from a publication.

The Atlantic wants to declare “Pandemic Amnesty” and get a do-over.

All the mistakes should be forgiven with no repercussions.

Let me give you the answer to that… NO.

Not Happening

Virtually every major decision made during the pandemic was wrong, and most could have been avoided.

There was data showing that COVID was not impacting children on a large scale, but schools were still closed.

There were studies about the efficacy of masks, yet they were still being forced.

We knew the spread of COVID was just as likely to happen at the grocery store and big box stores, yet they stayed open while small businesses and restaurants were forced to close.

While restricting Americans, we allowed illegal immigrants from countries with far worse infection rates to freely walk over the border and enter our cities and towns.

This does not even touch on the nursing home debacle and the number of people that could not mourn their loved ones in person because of these ridiculous and useless restrictions.

These restrictions were fought tooth and nail by Republicans, but the Democrats had the power, so they won.

No, I do not think Amnesty will be coming anytime soon.
