Mehmet Oz can smell the blood in the water right now.
John Fetterman is getting exposed on numerous fronts, but his health is being seriously questioned after some shaky public appearances.
Fetterman has finally agreed to debate Oz, but Oz wants it sooner rather than later.
Let's Wait…
Fetterman finally caved on the debate, but he does not want to do it until sometime in October.
The belief is that he wants more time to recover from his stroke and allow early voting to start.
Oz is saying now, before early voting, and he made a great point.
The PA Republican stated, "The first debate has to be in September, so we can allow voters to know who their candidates are right now."
He added, "Pick one of the debates in the next two, three weeks. So we can get this ball rolling."
Fetterman's response actually fed into the rumors of health issues, stating, "We're absolutely going to debate Dr. Oz, and that was really always our intent to do that.
"It was just simply only ever been about addressing some of the lingering issues of the stroke, the auditory processing, and we're going to be able to work that out."
Oz will get one shot to take this radical down, and he better not blow it.
He is finally within striking distance, with only five points separating the two candidates.
With a strong debate, Oz could completely flip this race.
