Mehmet Oz continues to make a late run at John Fetterman in the PA Senate race.
Oz, who once trailed by double digits, is now within two points of John Fetterman.
The latest Emerson College-The Hill poll has Fetterman ahead, 45-43.
Crashing
The only thing keeping Fetterman in the lead at this point is the overall weakness of Oz as a candidate.
It is now a battle of Oz’s previous liberal record and the fact that Fetterman wants to open up the PA prison doors and let second-degree murderers walk the street again.
This latest poll is a big move for Oz because it continues the trend of the Fetterman slide.
Even Fetterman’s internal polling now has this as a dead-even race, which is why we are seeing him make moves as well.
For instance, Fetterman has all but scrubbed BLM from his website.
While there are still videos with Fetterman talking about BLM, the print aspect of his support for the group has been scrubbed.
These two have a debate coming up very soon, which will be the make-or-break moment for one of these campaigns.
We all know Oz’s shortcomings, but I still believe many Pennsylvanians do not realize how much Fetterman’s stroke impacted him and his radical agenda to put criminals back on the street.
Oz can expose it all and he has to in order to win this race.
If he does manage to pull this off, it will be a huge upset and a seat that I, quite frankly, wrote off the moment he became the nominee.
