Oversight Committee Releases Hunter Biden Memo Involving Millions in Business Deals

The GOP-led House Oversight Committee released a memo on Wednesday with information on how Hunter Biden received millions of dollars in funding from foreign businesses.

The news comes after weeks of investigation into the first son's bribery allegations that have included his father President Joe Biden.

“It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered,” Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said in a statement.

“This is made clear,” Comer added, by meals at Café Milano in Washington, D.C., where then-Vice President Joe Biden “dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son.”

“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” said Chairman Comer.

“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States," he continued.

"The House Oversight Committee will continue to follow the money trail and obtain witness testimony to determine whether foreign actors targeted the Bidens, President Biden is compromised or corrupt, and our national security is threatened," he added.

The committee is releasing payment information on transactions involving Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine that include over $20 million in deals.

The transactions occurred when Biden was vice president under then-President Barack Obama.

The latest details offer evidence that could even lead to an impeachment investigation against the president after his multiple claims to be unaware of his son's business deals.
