Roger Severino is a former DOJ official.
He served as an attorney at the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights division, the same division that enforces the FACE Act.
He has seen how aggressive this administration has been against conservatives, so he is ringing that bell.
Out for Blood
We have seen an inordinate number of indictments against conservative protesters under this administration.
At the same time, we have seen like cases on the left go unprosecuted.
It seems fairly clear that the DOJ now has an official agenda.
Severino stated, “The left is out for blood, and Biden’s base is demanding prosecutions and the DOJ is providing them.”
They are now looking for maximum carnage as well, meaning they are looking at every angle to pass out maximum sentences.
For instance, Pro-life activist Mark Houck got into an argument with an abortion escort.
Houck allegedly shoved the individual to the ground, which would generally call for a six-month sentence under the FACE Act as a first-time offender.
His attorney, Peter Breen, stated, “It’s outrageous that you would take a six-month misdemeanor … and turn it into a 10-year federal felony.”
Leftist protesters have literally set police cars on fire and been released with no charges.
This was another arrest of a man who allegedly blocked the entrance of an abortion clinic...

Severino, who served under both Republicans and Democrats, stated, “This is law enforcement run amok.
“The FACE Act had always been enforced very rarely, because the pro-life movement is a movement of peace.
“All of a sudden, they are inventing cases and doing sham prosecutions in an election year for purely political purposes to go after their political enemies.”
The FACE Act is also supposed to protect pro-life facilities, yet not a single indictment has come down for Jane’s Revenge attacks.
This will all come out at some point, but right now, only secondary conservative publications and blogs are covering it.
History will not be kind to this administration... of that, I am sure.
