João Teixeira de Faria, a self-named faith healer from Brazil, just received a 99-year prison sentence.
The sentencing comes after Faria was found guilty of multiple sex crimes.
Brazil's Agencia Brasil reported on Faria's sentence last week.
He's Being Put Away FOREVER
Faria, known as "João de Deus" or "John of God," has received recognition across the world for his alleged healing abilities.
Faria attracted a following in the United States as well that included media personality Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey interviewed Faria 10 years ago, calling him "inspiring," The Associated Press reported.

Faria operated for multiple decades from his modest town in Goiás, Brazil.
His faith healing pulled in followers from all walks of life who sought his assistance.
Celebrities and individuals flocked to his house on the outskirts of Brasília.
Followers came with the hope of experiencing Faria's claimed "healing touch" and controversial psychic surgeries.
Everything changed for Faria in December 2018 when he was exposed as more than 300 women came forward to say Faria had sexually abused them under the guise of spiritual guidance.
Faria was sentenced to 19 years in prison for raping four different women.
Since that time, multiple other cases have been brought to the attention of the legal system.
"The 99-year sentence handed down Monday involved eight victims whom he abused between 2010 and 2018," Agencia Brasil reported.
According to Metropoles in Brasilia, Faria’s total prison sentence is now over 370 years.
Faria was also ordered to pay about $20,000 in compensation for moral damages to his eight victims.
