‘One Tree Hill’ Actor Dead at 35

Fans of “One Tree Hill” are heartbroken over the news that one of the stars of the show has passed.

Paul Teal, who was only 35 years old, passed away this week.

Teal lost his long-running battle with cancer.

He’s Gone

Teal’s agent, Susan Tolar Walters, broke the news to fans on Monday.

Walters stated, “His remarkable talent, along with his gentle spirit, has left an indelible mark on all of us fortunate enough to have known him. The loss we feel in our hearts is immeasurable.”

His fiancé, Emilia Torello, confirmed the news, posting on her social media, “You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail. While a part of me died with you, I promise to fight to find joy in life as hard as you fought to live every single day.

“The world is lucky to have even had a moment with Paul Teal, and I am the luckiest person in it, because I got to call you mine. I will love you forever.”

Teal was best known for his role on “One Tree Hill,” starring in Season 7 of the show.

That was his first big break and not a bad way to start.

His career sputtered after that, but in 2013, he landed a single episode appearance on “Psychodrama.”

But again, his career stalled for another three years.

Finally, in 2016, Teal started to get some grip, landing a series of TV show appearances, followed by back-to-back movie roles in 2020 and 2021.

From that point, he started to get steady work, including a role in “Deep Water” in 2022.

In 2024, he landed two movie roles, as well as a recurring role in “The Hunting Wives,” which is now in post-production, but Teal will appear in six episodes.

He also has a short in post-production called “1st Memory.”

Rest in peace, young man, as our thoughts are with your family as yet another young life is claimed by that horrible disease.
