Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is walking around with a big smile on his face today.
Bragg managed to get a guilty plea from former NYPD Sergeant Adrian DeJesus.
DeJesus pleaded guilty to official misconduct, falsifying business records, and attempted assault, reported CBS News.

We all know Bragg loves to go after victims and police more than real thugs that are turning New York City into a cesspool, so I guess this is considered a huge win for him.
DeJesus’ charges centered around an assault against an inmate in his holding cell last year. The incident reportedly took place at Manhattan Central Booking in October 2022.
The report stated that the inmate and DeJesus got into an argument, which then became physical.
Bragg stated, “Members of the NYPD work hard day and night to keep us safe, and they must make quick and difficult decisions every day. In an instance where misconduct does occur, we must follow the facts to ensure the law is upheld and help build stronger law enforcement and community relations,” reported NBC New York.
DeJesus was fired from the department in February in charges from a different case, where he falsified records in a Staten Island case.
To be clear, when an officer’s actions are out of bounds, I have zero problem with the officer being held accountable.
My problem is that Bragg seems more interested in protecting thugs and releasing them back out on the street than he is in prosecuting them.
Look at some of the high-profile cases that Bragg has presented, such as the case against Daniel Perry, who put Jordan Neely in a chokehold after he was allegedly threatening other passengers on the train.
Or, how about the case against Jose Alba, the bodega clerk who ended up in a scuffle for his life and ended up stabbing an aggressor who came behind the counter (those charges were eventually dropped)?
Bragg is just another George Soros disciple using the law to create chaos by simply refusing to enforce the law.
This is why my ears fall silent on people from New York or any other city that has a Soros prosecutor in place. You voted these clowns in because they had a D behind their names and never did your due diligence on the candidate.
You voted him in, now you are only getting what you deserve.
