Obama’s Russian Reset Coming Back to Bite United States

We all remember how Democrats accused Donald Trump of colluding with Russians.

However, it was the Obama administration that had the infamous “reset’ with Russia.

Now, that reset could come back to haunt the United States if we wind up in a war with Russia.

Disaster Awaits

Joe Biden just made a move that could wind up putting NATO countries at war with Russia.

This week, Biden announced that he would be approving the use of long-range missiles by Ukraine to strike within the Russian border.

Russia has been very clear that such a move would constitute war with NATO as well as bring nuclear weapons into play.

That was followed by Putin lowering the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons in its war against Ukraine, stating that it reserves the right to use these weapons in response to a “critical threat” to its “sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Last week, Russia also announced that it would be putting new restrictions on its uranium exports to the United States.

The United States’ reliance on Russian uranium has already impacted Americans, with prices soaring, resulting in rising energy costs.

The United States has been importing about a quarter of its uranium from Russia.

Seamus Bruner, co-author of “Fallout: Nuclear Bribes, Russian Spies, and the Washington Lies that Enriched the Clinton and Biden Dynasties,” stated, “[The] United States used to produce its own nuclear materials for bombs and then for nuclear energy, and it was the Clinton administration they made this deal with the Russians way back in the 90s to purchase all of this down blended material from, you know, the decommission nuclear warheads from Russia.

“That got us addicted to Russia's supply.”

He added, “And so now we're in this tough spot. Now we do have domestic producers, who are, you know, producing uranium for our energy needs, but there is no way, there's no way they're going to catch up.”

Former Trump National Security Council Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz commented, stating, “It was a terrible decision to make us dependent on imports of uranium from Russia.”

Chris Gadomski, the lead nuclear analyst for BloombergNEF, also commented, stating that there is no way the United States has enough enriched uranium to supply our nuclear energy plants, and the Biden administration never made a move to stockpile uranium in anticipation of problems with Russia after its war with Ukraine started.

Keep in mind, Biden has also pillaged our oil reserves, which puts the United States in a massive bind next year for energy supplies.

Fleitz stated, “[It] puts us in a real bind, because there are I just talked to a nuclear expert just before our call to get the specifics on this, and he told me that this decision will lead to brownouts in the summer, because there simply won't be enough nuclear fuel for certain states to run their reactors to generate electricity.

“So this is going to be a pretty vital issue for President Trump to deal with, and I wonder whether Putin did this to get some leverage in peace talks on Ukraine.”
