If you ask most Democrats and plenty of Republicans, there is no way that Donald Trump can win this election.
The man has four grand jury indictments, dozens of felony charges, and half this country hates his guts to the core.
Even so, during a recent meeting, Barack Obama reportedly warned Joe Biden that he better watch out because this man is not to be underestimated, reported Breitbart.
Watch Him, Joe
Joe and Barack recently had lunch and a little chat. Part of that chat was Obama smacking Biden across the face with the reality that no matter what, Trump’s base cannot be shaken.
The base alone is not enough to win an election, but if Trump can get some momentum and Joe is struggling, this is a neck-and-neck race.
Obama promised Joe that he would “do all he could” to help, reported the Washington Post.
Obama’s top adviser, Eric Schulz, also offered some insight as to where Obama will be concentrating his efforts.
Schulz stated that they will “place a huge emphasis on finding creative ways to reach new audiences, especially tools that can be directly tied to voter mobilization or volunteer activations.
"We are deliberate in picking our moments because our objective is to move the needle.”
I honestly do not know how they can really move the needle, even by bringing in the golden boy to help Biden.
I see this as a very low-energy election.
Keep in mind, Biden is way underwater and Trump is running low on funds, so I would not expect a lot of advertising out of his camp.
Most of the money that Trump is raising right now is going to legal fees, and the meat of the cases against him have not even come to trial yet.
Trump has already reportedly spent about $40 million in campaign cash on legal bills since he left office, with a mere $30 million or so left in the till.
Trump is great at getting grassroots donations, but the big money is staying away from him, at least for now, and that could present Trump with a massive challenge down the stretch.
