Obama Adviser Wanted Vance Disqualified as Trump’s VP

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod is not going to be happy today.

After Trump’s assassination attempt, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) called out Democrats, blaming the assassination attempt on Democrat rhetoric.

Axelrod believes his comments should have disqualified him as a VP candidate.

And The Winner Is…

Within hours of the assassination attempt against Trump, Vance had posted, "Today is not just some isolated incident.

"The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs. That rhetoric led directly to President Trump's attempted assassination."

That entire statement is true, yet Axelrod went after Vance for what he said.

He responded, “If @JDVance1 is on the shortlist for VP, this Tweet, sent an hour after the assassination attempt in PA, ought to disqualify him in the eyes of the Trump campaign.

“As we now are learning, the gunman’s profile doesn’t seem to match Vance’s premise. But at least wait and see! Trump probably doesn’t want a shoot-from-the-hip VP.”

Joe Biden talked about putting a “bullseye” on Trump, as well as a long post on Twitter about how much of a threat Donald Trump is to everything that the United States stands for.

Nancy Pelosi stated that Trump had to “stopped” at all costs.

This is the rhetoric that Dems have used against Trump for the last decade, and are we to believe they did not think or hope something like this would happen?

The media is so quick to call out Trump and Republicans anytime they say something remotely inflammatory, even if it is taken out of context, like Trump’s “bloodbath” comment, yet they let Biden and company get away with comments literally putting a bullseye on Trump’s head.

As for Vance, Trump filed that recommendation right where it belonged, and on Monday, Trump named Vance as his VP.
