NYC Mayor Says He is Looking Forward to Working with Trump

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is under the microscope of Joe Biden’s Department of Justice right now.

If you ask Adams, this is political warfare because he spoke up against Joe Biden’s immigration policies.

Now, he is trying to work with Trump, talking about how he is “looking forward” to “partnering” with the Trump administration.

Con Artist or Victim?

Several weeks ago, Donald Trump stated that he would consider pardoning Eric Adams if he is convicted of bribery and campaign finance violations because he believes he has been treated “very badly” by the DOJ.

Adams has been indicted for bribery as well as accepting foreign donations to pump up his campaign totals, which enabled him to maximize the match program for his mayoral campaign.

Now, if Adams was alone in this corruption, maybe you could make the argument that he was being targeted, but he has seen several members of his administration indicted during his time as mayor.

I am not buying the politically motivated angle, and I think it would be a huge mistake for Trump to pardon him. I have stated numerous times there is no way I would support such a pardon for Adams.

I have little doubt that Adams is working Trump in the media right now, trying to gain favor by flattering Trump to try to get his pardon lined up.

To that point, Adams stated, “Regaining the pride in our country, going after the large number of young people who no longer love this country and believe the country does not have a future for them. I’m looking forward to stopping the radicalization of our young people, from going into schools, shooting up campuses, to Ivy League students taking a gun with a silencer and killing an insurance executive.

“You know, to believing that they should call themselves terrorists — Hamas and Hezbollah. I’m looking to regain our economy and affordability and partnering and making government efficient.”

He added, “I’m really looking forward to what Elon Musk is doing. I’ve stated this when I ran for office back in 2020 that our city has been inefficient, and our country — we’re producing a terrible product, and we’re spending a great deal of taxpayers’ dollars to do so.

“We could do better. We’ve betrayed New Yorkers; we’ve betrayed Americans and we need to have a pathway into the middle class. And I’m looking forward to partnering with this administration and not fighting with this administration to accomplish that task.”

Let’s not forget how critical of Trump Adams has been in the past, not to mention he kept New York City as a sanctuary city, then blamed his immigrant problems on Governor Abbott when it was really the Biden administration and a side deal that Adams made with a local mayor at a border town to take these illegals.

Now, he is in trouble, so suddenly he is flattering Trump and looking forward to working with him?

No… I don’t buy it. I don’t trust him because he is just another snake in the grass Democrat looking to work the system to his benefit.

Trump is a fool if he pardons this man.
