It looks like Trump may be knocking out another of his archenemies in Congress.
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) is now the projected underdog in her race.
FiveThirtyEight is now projecting Kelly C. Tshibaka as the 53 percent favorite to win the race.
Voters Choice
With there only being a month left in the race, Tshibaka is the one trending in the right direction after trailing most of this race.
The wildcard here is that Alaska is now using voter’s choice ranking.
Murkowski could actually emerge as the top candidate after the first round of voting.
However, she is unlikely to get to 50 percent on the first ballot.
That means the second choice on the third candidate's ballot is then recast.
Tshibaka appears to have the majority of those votes locked in, enough to put her over the 50 percent threshold.
Murkowski’s voting record is finally catching up with her after 20 years in the Senate.
She is currently ranked as the second most liberal Republican in the Senate.
