No Evidence Senator Moore Has The Majority Necessary For Fanni Willis' Impeachment

State Senator Colton Moore recently claimed to have the support of "3/5 of each respective house" in Georgia behind his plan to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp's office doesn't agree.

Kemp and his team are publicly saying that Moore has yet to provide evidence that he's going to get anyone to cross the aisle and side with him.

"We have not been provided any evidence to support that assertion," said Kemp spokesman Garrison Douglas.

This is a big problem for Moore. Not only does it appear as if Fani Willis' impeachment is not going to happen anytime soon, but this may also do serious damage to Moore's reputation.

Hailed as a conservative hero not too long ago, it's possible that Moore isn't a hero at all.

I'm not saying I know this is true, but is there even a chance that Moore is doing nothing but blowing hot air when he says he has the support to impeach?

We get it Moore, you want to support Donald Trump. You think the indictment out of Georgia against Trump is unfair, and you want to go after the person responsible for the indictment.

But that doesn't mean you can say things that aren't true.

If the numbers aren't there, then the numbers aren't there.

Americans would appreciate it if Moore was honest with us about the numbers, even if it does mean more of an uphill climb for America's 45th president.

"As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis," Moore said. "America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents." He added:

We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, pursuant to Article IV, Section II, Paragraph VII(b), hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis.

"Tell Brian Kemp and his team to turn off CNN and open their eyes. I've done 25 TV, radio, and podcast interviews with one identical message: I need 3/5 of my colleagues to sign the letter," Moore concluded. "The people of Georgia want action, not more empty promises from fluff politicians."

Do you believe Moore or Kemp in this situation?
