New York Republican Calls for Investigation into Signers of Hunter Biden Laptop Letter

I am sure most of you remember the infamous letter that was signed by 51 former members of the intelligence community.

The letter stated that the Hunter Biden laptop had all the signs of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Now that we know they were only pushing talking points for Biden, a New York Republican is calling for an investigation into the people who signed the letter.

Investigate Them

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) broke the news on Monday that she was going after the former intelligence officials who had signed the letter, possibly for election interference.

She stated, "I've written a letter [that] will come out either today or tomorrow, asking for a referral and an investigation into the criminality and the wrongfulness of these agents and Anthony Blinken, in trying to interfere with our election and making a false statement back in 2020.”

Tenney then added, "This is a violation because you're engaging in political interference with an election as a member of the executive branch and as a federal employee.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton also commented, stating, "The idea that the pre-publication operation that is put in place to review the material written by people with security clearance or CIA connections, ... the idea that they would turn something around between the hours of 6 and 8 A.M. is remarkable evidence that this was a political operation.

"They knew ... it was about Hunter's laptop, and they rushed through the approval process to then benefit Biden's campaign. That's the conclusion I draw."

I have been complaining about this for some time, and I am stunned that it took this long for Republicans to address this.

The fact that, at the time, existing CIA officials knew about the letter and did not stop it should also put those officials under the spotlight.

In my opinion, this was absolutely election interference, and these people need to be held accountable.

Sadly, Biden is doing this again, having 16 economists who were in the tank for Democrats sign a letter that stated Trump would destroy the economy if elected.

And by the way, they all said the same thing in 2016 to hurt Trump, and everyone saw just how wrong they all were then.
