New York Appeals Court Lets Trump Keep His Businesses -- For Now

Arthur Engoron, the liberal judge ruling over Donald Trump's juryless trial in New York, can smile all he wants, but that's not going to change the facts.

Donald Trump is keeping his New York businesses.

At least for now.

Engoron is most famous for posing for the cameras in the courtroom while he was supposed to be taking Trump's trial seriously. He's also famous for his angry outbursts towards Trump's team in the courtroom.

He also gained notoriety for a ridiculously heavy-handed decision meant to completely destroy Donald Trump.

Many Americans thought that Engoron's decision to try to completely ban Trump from ever doing business in New York again was a little over the top, and it appears as though another New York court agrees with the public.

It was no surprise that Engoron wanted to destroy Trump.

After all, Engoron is a lifelong Democrat who has spent THOUSANDS of dollars backing Democratic candidates and causes.

How did you think he was going to rule against Trump?

Obviously, the decision had the potential to be completely unfair, and it would appear as though New York's Appellate Division would agree.

Donald's son, Eric Trump, made the announcement:

We thank the Appellate Division for staying the NY Attorney General’s and Judge Engoron’s overzealous attempt to cancel our New York business certificates. Judge Engoron’s order erroneously sought to adjudicate the rights of non-party business entities that employ nearly 1,000 hard-working New Yorkers, have never been accused of any wrongdoing and, were never given their day in court – in clear violation of their fundamental Constitutional rights and Due Process. We will continue to vigorously defend our company and our incredible employees from this politically motivated persecution.

Do you think that this temporary stay will be enough to save Trump's businesses?

Let us know what you think in the comments below.
