Netflix Star Ashley Park Rushed To Hospital For 'Critical Septic Shock'

A star of the hit Netflix show Emily in Paris just opened up about having recently been hospitalized in critical condition.

The terrifying story she posted in the actress' Instagram has blown up the Internet.

Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen on Emily in Paris, spent time in a foreign hospital for "critical septic shock."

The star confirmed that while she was on vacation during the New Year's holiday, she was hospitalized when "what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs."

The star revealed it all during a recent Instagram post and continued to say she is “grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told.”

She also took time to thank her boyfriend, Paul Forman.

Park says he remained by her side through it all.

“You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know. I love you Paul. More than I can ever say,” Park said.

She gave a special thank you to the others responsible for were responsible for aiding in her recovery.

“And I’m deeply grateful to every doctor and ICU nurse who worked tirelessly and especially the @JoaliBeing team for responding immediately and staying with me to provide language translations and vital support. Infinite thanks to my personal team of heroes at home who were on calls with insurance, Paul, my parents, and doctors at all hours (you know who you are),” she continued.

We cannot imagine the horror Park experienced while going into septic shock during a time that is supposed to be spent relaxing and recharging.

We are relieved that Park can say that she is “safely on the other side of the worst” and pray for continued recovery during this time.
