Nearly All ‘Trump Train’ Defendants Cleared by Texas Jury

Get ready for outrage on the left against the state of Texas and Trump supporters.

A controversial case regarding Trump supporters allegedly harassing a Biden-Harris campaign bus and its passengers went to jury this week.

Democrats did not get the expected outcome, with nearly all the drivers being acquitted in the case.

The Case

Former Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (D) and five other passengers were traveling in a Biden-Harris campaign bus between Austin and San Antonio when the incident occurred.

Davis testified, “I feel like they were enjoying making us afraid. It’s traumatic for all of us to revisit that day.”

According to the filing, a caravan of Trump supporters boxed in the bus, terrifying everyone on board.

The caravan then slowed down, forcing the bus to travel at 15 mph.

The suit claims the Trump supporters endangered their lives with the maneuver and tried to intimidate the campaign workers.

The jury did not see it that way, clearing all but one of the defendants (several other defendants took a plea deal to apologize to have charges dropped) of the charges.

The only defendant not cleared was Eliazer Cisneros, whose car brushed up against the side of the vehicle on I-35.

He was ordered to pay the bus driver $10,000 and another individual $30,000 for damages.

Cisneros' attorneys have already stated they will appeal the decision.

One of the defendants, Joeylynn Mesaros, was relieved after the verdict was announced, stating, “We’re just ready to feel like normal people again.

“It’s been a thousand-something days to have our day in court.”

I have to admit, considering where the case was being tried, I thought all six of them were sunk, but I have been surprised again. I cannot wait to hear the outrage on the left over this verdict.
