NBC’s Kristen Welker Blasted After Interview with Donald Trump

Welker used to be a respected journalist, but Donald Trump has changed that for a lot of people.

What little credibility Welker still had was lost after the latest Trump interview on NBC.

Welker hammered Trump about targeting his opponents, and Trump supporters let her have it, as she seemed more interested in a "gotcha" moment then in having an honest interview with Trump.

Relentless

Even though Trump’s answer never really changed, Welker asked Trump about going after his opponents more than a dozen times during the interview.

For instance, regarding Kash Patel, Welker asked, “He has a list in his book of 60 people that he calls members of the so-called deep state. It includes Democrats like Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, it includes former members of your cabinet from Bill Barr to Christopher Wray.

“You campaigned on destroying the deep state. Do you want Kash Patel to launch investigations into people on that list?”

Trump responded, “No. I mean, he’s going to do what he thinks is right.”

Trump has been added that he will give no such directive to any of his administration officials, but if their duties require them to look into some of these people, so be it.

As I have stated before, it’s not revenge if they broke the law or abused their power. Then it’s just justice.

After the interview, Welker got shredded, with NewsBusters analyst Jorge Bonilla leading the charge, stating, "Meet the Depressed host Kristen Welker’s sit-down with the once and future president featured some newsworthy items, but was mostly a showcase for her blatant deceptions.”

At one point, Welker’s bias was so blatant, Trump called her out right to her face, stating, "You have such potential. If you could be just, just non-biased. You hurt yourself so badly.”

That sums up today’s media in a heartbeat, though.

They are all interested in creating the narrative that gets reported rather than allowing the story to dictate the narrative.

With Trump heading back into office, get ready for a steady dose of negative reporting because that is all today’s media knows, as it has become nothing but an extension of the Democrat Party.
