Native Americans Hammering Biden for Fossil Fuel Limitations

Native Americans are not happy with Joe Biden right now.

Many Native American tribes rely on fossil fuel production on their lands.

Biden's war against fossil fuels is having a direct impact, so now they are taking aim at the administration.

One tribal leader even accused Joe Biden of declaring "war on Crow."

Indigenous Not So Important

Biden has given a few speeches talking about his concerns for the Indigenous Americans.

That line apparently stops with fossil fuel production.

Daniel Cardenas, the chairman of the National Tribal Energy Association and a member of the Pit River Tribe, stated, "Air, water and energy are so foundational to our economy.

"I believe in the right that all property owners have to develop what belongs to them in any way that they want.

"That's why it's important to fight for.

"To make sure it doesn't get taken away."

According to a 2014 survey, 30 percent of coal supplies and 20 percent of oil and natural gas west of the Mississippi River are on Indigenous lands.

Without these resources, their economies will collapse.

Conrad Stewart, the director of energy and water for the Crow Nation of Montana, stated, "Resource tribes depend on the development of their resources to create better tomorrows for our children.

"It was basically a mandate in Indian policy to establish and develop our resources."

Then Stewart dropped the bombshell, stating, "A war on coal is a war on Crow."

Let's see how that hits home with Joe.
