There's a certain type of American that can't afford to be wrong:
Gamblers.
That's why, bettors are starting to predict that the Republican party will take control of the Senate.
Nancy Pelosi is heading for the door. The smart money says she won't be Speaker of the House very much longer.
Of course the casinos adjust their odds based on what they think is likely to happen, but more often it is the bettors that decide what the odds are going to be. Bettors will let casinos know if the odds are fair or not. If they aren't, no bets will come in.
That's why the bettor dictates the gambling market. And gamblers don't like to lose money. Sure, the house always wins, but that takes in to account idiots like us.
The people placing the really big money don't like to be wrong. And according to the markets, they're saying Republicans will take control of the House of Representatives in the upcoming midterm elections.
The GOP is currently favored to take control of the house by 56 cents on the dollar.
According to PredictIt, this is up from a low of 35 cents on the dollar back in August.
This is an amazing sign for Republicans with less than three weeks until election day.
