Nancy Pelosi rushed to hospital after breaking hip in Europe
Nancy Pelosi has been in the news for a lot of things lately, but the latest might be the most noteworthy of all.
According to sfstandard.com, Nancy Pelosi suffered a fall on a recent European trip that resulted in her being treated for a broken hip in the hospital.
The fall happened just a few minutes after the photo below was taken.
Despite the photo being just a still image, you can still tell that Pelosi seems very wobbly at the moment it was taken.

At first, you might think that Pelosi was holding hands with Republican Michael McCaul because it was the theme of the photograph or something, but a close inspection shows that zero other people in the photo were doing the same thing.
That probably means that Pelosi simply needed McCaul supporting her so that she could remain upright, not because she was trying to hold his hand in a display of unity.
At the time of the fall, Pelosi "was in Luxembourg with a bipartisan congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge." Pelosi's spokesperson Ian Krager spoke about what happened to the congresswoman:
"Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi sustained an injury during an official engagement and was admitted to the hospital for evaluation," Krager said.
As a result of the fall, Pelosi will be canceling the rest of her engagements on the trip.
Witnesses allege that "Pelosi appeared unsteady and frail according to witnesses in the room during the meeting."
McCaul added some details of his own to the story:
"I’m disappointed Speaker Emerita Pelosi won’t be able to join the rest of our delegation’s events this weekend as I know how much she looked forward to honoring our veterans. But she is strong, and I am confident she will be back on her feet in no time. Praying for a speedy recovery," the lawmaker said.
