Nancy Pelosi files 2026 re-election paperwork

Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi continues to upset both parties at every opportunity!

The latest news?

Pelosi has filed to run for re-election in 2026.

This may surprise many, considering even members of her own party are beyond sick of her actions.

Pelosi will be 86 when she plans to seek another term in the House, and many in her own party are accusing her of doing a “terrible” job.

However, some may say they anticipated Pelosi to seek re-election given her statement to the New York Times after the last cycle.

The Times asked her if this term would be her last, and Pelosi refused to give a straight answer.

What she did say was she was “not here to talk about that.”

“I’m here to fight the fight so that we win in the next election. I must have thought I had the last term over and over again, but as fate would have it, the mission called,” Pelosi went on, dancing around the question.

Recently, Pelosi had already been in hot water for not truly accepting “her new role” and refusing to “take a seat.”

During an interview with Axios News, top Democrats spilled their feelings on Pelosi after she criticized President Joe Biden during a New York Times podcast appearance.

When Pelosi sat down to share her thoughts on the election results, Democrats lost their minds.

On the podcast, Pelosi said that had Biden thrown in the towel sooner “there may have been other candidates in the race” and also noted that HAD Biden dropped out sooner, things may have turned out differently.

That interview left Democrats under the stern belief that Pelosi has not truly accepted the fact that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries now holds her former title.

The rest of the House Democrats want Pelosi to step aside and let Jeffries truly lead.

“I understand that this is a difficult transition for her, not being the leader, but she is not. She needs to understand what her new role is,” a House Democrat told Axios.

Do you agree with some Democrats that Pelosi needs to be gone as soon as possible?
