The border is secure… we all know the narrative, and we all know it is a complete and utter lie.
A 2018 murder of a 10-year-old child that has finally gone to trial has once again brought the dangers of an open border to a horrific reality.
These cases are already infuriating, but when the murder is committed against a child, well, that is something that Biden needs to be held accountable for.
The Murder
According to the report, Kareem Ernesto Leiva, 37, and his girlfriend, Heather Maxine Barron, 33, have been charged with murder.
Levia is a native of El Salvador.
The two have been accused of torturing and murdering Barron's 10-year-old son, Anthony Avalos, as well as abusing two additional children.
They boy had allegedly been forced to kneel on rice, force-fed, whipped, starved, and beaten, with the report stating that he experienced "extreme physical pain and suffering."
Leiva is just a saint, having shanked an inmate in prison as well as several charges of domestic violence on his record.
The murder trial for these two animals is scheduled to start next week, with Jonathan Hatami taking the role of lead prosecutor.
On June 20, 2018, only weeks after having completed the fourth grade, Barron called 9-1-1 to report her son was unconscious.
Prosecutors stated that the young boy had been severely tortured "for almost two weeks, up until paramedics responded to [the] residence and found Anthony's lifeless body."
When police responded to the call, they found the boy badly beaten, not breathing, and burn marks on his stomach.
Doctors at the hospital described him as "severely malnourished and dehydrated."
Prosecutors described the abuse, stating, "The final death blows came that evening when Leiva slammed Anthony on his head multiple times. Barron did not call the police until the next morning. Leiva purposefully fled the residence with his children before authorities arrived."
These people are monsters, but Biden just keeps letting them into the country.
