Multiple people killed in mass stabbing at 'Diversity Festival' in Germany

A horrific terrorist attack has taken place in Germany.

According to Breitbart news, at least three are dead, and many others have been left in SERIOUS condition after a “mass stabbing” took place at the “Festival of Diversity” in Solingen, Germany.

The mayor of Solingen, Tim Kurzbach, has since released a statement about the shocking events that took place.

“Tonight we are all in Solingen in shock, fright, and great sadness. We all wanted to celebrate our city anniversary together and now we have to mourn the dead and injured. It breaks my heart that there was an assassination attack on our town,” Kurzbach began.

“Tears in my eyes when I think of those we have lost. I pray for all those who are still fighting for their lives. Also, to all the people who had to witness this, my great sympathies must have been terrible pictures. I thank all the emergency and security forces for their service. I ask that if you believe pray with me and if you don’t, then hope with me,” he concluded.

Since the attack occurred, an Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the mass stabbing saying that the attacker identified as a “soldier of the Islamic State” and did it “to avenge Muslims in Palestine and everywhere.”

The Islamic State group also noted that the attacker was specifically targeting Christians.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has also released a statement on the terrorist attack.

“The heinous act in Solingen shocks me and our country. We mourn those killed and worry about those injured and I wish them strength and a speedy recovery from all my heart,” Steinmeier said.

We pray that the German police are able to get to the bottom of this.
