MN Democrat Arrested for Stealing Campaign Signs

I honestly think the people of this country are losing their collective minds, specifically when it comes to politics.

I had never heard of candidates stealing other candidates' signs during an election until Trump ran for president.

Now, it seems like the norm, which brings us to a case out of VP candidate Tim Walz’s Minnesota.

Let’s Take Them

When Trump first ran for office, reports of campaign sign theft were all over the news.

People were stealing signs, lighting them on fire, and doing all kinds of crazy stuff.

That has now leaked into local politics, with Minnesota Democratic House Candidate Judd Hoff and his wife Wendy being recently arrested for stealing campaign signs.

According to local police, they allegedly stole the signs from several other candidates and repainted them to support Hoff’s campaign.

I guess that is a cheaper way to run a campaign, but it also happens to be illegal.

Hoff is no stranger to legal problems, having been disavowed by the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor (DFL) Party because of his criminal record.

According to the report, his record includes a 2nd-degree assault charge.

The report stated, “Hoff once brandished a 23-inch machete at a concerned citizen who stopped him because he was driving a car that displayed the American flag upside down.

“He was convicted for using the machete once more a month later, but the charges were dropped after Hoff was assigned 13 months in jail for the first offense.”

The really odd thing about this is that there are no other Democrats on the ticket, so Hoff is going to win his primary race.

He has also claimed that his wife is innocent, claiming that her civil rights were violated when she was arrested.

Welcome to the new America, more specifically, Tim Walz’s Minnesota!
