Mississippi Supreme Court Affirms Death Row Prisoner's Murder Convictions

Every Democrat who says NO to the death penalty just got cold hard proof why it should always be an option.

The Mississippi Supreme Court just delivered the ultimate blow to the man who killed eight people in one night back in 2017.

The horrific crimes of Willie Cory Godbolt will now cost him his life.

His victims include a deputy sheriff and his own mother-in-law.

Now, the state’s Supreme Court has decided Willie Cory Godbolt will be executed for his horrific crimes.

Godbolt was convicted in 2020 on four counts of capital murder and on each he was sentenced to die.

He also received six life sentences and two 20-year terms for the other four counts of murder, kidnapping counts and attempted murder charges.

The night of the murders, Godbolt went to three houses and shot to death each of the victims.

Godbolt originally blamed the devil for the murders, saying he prayed to do better “but the devil came to kill and destroy.”

“He wasn’t going to let that be,” Godbolt said.

“My life came to a screeching halt. I couldn’t fight the battle that was raging inside me,” Godbolt also previously said.

Now, Godbolt is getting what he deserves -- he will die for his crimes.

But, for many liberals, the death penalty is something against which they actively stand.

We hope anyone who stands against the death penalty takes a cold hard look at the crimes of Godbolt and understands that justice has been served.

Godbolt should die for his crimes.

He brutally murdered eight innocent victims.

Godbolt does not deserve to live out his life after killing so many.

Where do you stand on the death penalty?
