Miranda Devine: ‘Nancy Pelosi is Finished’

This congressional session was the first time since 2003 that Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has not been the official leader of the Democrat caucus.

Even though she no longer held the title, most believe she was still the one wielding the most power.

For that reason, Miranda Devine now believes that Pelosi’s influence in the party is gone, if not the end of her career.

She’s Done

Devine is a New York Post columnist and Fox News contributor.

She just published a blistering op-ed on Pelosi that really rattled some windows in the building.

Pelosi has always been considered a master tactician and is widely credited with fending off the feared red waves over the last decade.

Now, however, she is being fingered as the architect of the 2024 debacle that saw Republicans score a political trifecta as well as having the biggest win the GOP has seen in decades.

To quote Devine, “She’s finished.”

Pelosi ran for re-election in 2024, and the braindead voters of her district pulled the handle for her once again, even though the district has been steadily deteriorating over the last decade.

Pelosi has also already filed the paperwork to run again in 2026… which would make her 86 at the start of the next term.

Before the election, Pelosi explained why she led the coup to have Joe Biden drop out and hand the nomination to Kamala Harris.

She stated, "I decided a while ago that Donald Trump will never set foot in the White House again as president of the United States or in any other capacity.”

Nothing worked out as planned.

Biden defiantly endorsed Harris within minutes of announcing he was dropping out, ruining the plans of Pelosi and company to hold some fake primary to make voters feel as though they had a say in this.

Pelosi has been spotted in some heated public debates, and pundits are calling her out over this disaster, with “The View” co-host Anna Navarro stating, "She wants to make sure people know it wasn’t her, [that] she has no blame in this. … It’s really unseemly."

Former Sanders and Biden staffer Symone Sanders Townsend stated, "Nancy Pelosi, everybody talks about how the speaker emerita, you know, she’s so strategic, she can count, she did all of that when she was the speaker in Congress, but my question is: Where is your calculator now?"

Pelosi may still be in office, but I think Devine is right in her assessment… Nancy Pelosi is finished.
