Remember Michael Avenatti? The man who would be king.
For 15 minutes, Avenatti was the golden boy of the media and liberals.
He was going to take down Trump and possibly even run for president…, but then he went to jail for defrauding his client who was trying to take down Trump!
Well, he just suffered yet another big loss in the courts, reported the Daily Caller.
Sorry, Mikey
The day that Michael Avenatti decided to take on Donald Trump, he ruined his life.
He was suddenly thrust into a media frenzy, with everyone and their mother wanting a piece of him.
I don’t remember the exact numbers, but over a two-month period, I think he was on CNN more than four dozen times and on some media outlet all but one or two days.
The ladies on “The View” gushed over him, which is when the presidential nonsense started to get floated.
Not only did Avenatti steal from Stormy Daniels, but he also defrauded another client involved with Nike during this period.
On Wednesday, his effort to have that ruling overturned fell flat, and it was not even close.
The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 3-0 against Avenatti, so Mikey is going to have to stay in jail.
Avenatti was representing Gary Franklin, a youth athletic coach in Los Angeles. The filing stated that Avenatti “used a quid pro quo to solicit a bribe from Nike … with the intent to defraud Franklin of the honest services owed to him by his attorney.”
Avenatti wanted $1.5 million from Franklin, who they alleged had information that would have been detrimental to Nike. The report then stated that Avenatti flipped and demanded Nike retain him “and guarantee a total minimum payment of $15 million regardless of the amount of work ultimately performed.”
The judges called his case “meritless.”

During that same period, Avenatti was convicted of defrauding five other clients, including Stormy Daniels.
So, it turns out Mikey was nothing more than another liberal grifter.
