Mexican Judge releases cartel boss fighting extradition to America

Why does it seem as though everyone is fighting so hard against Republicans' idea of maintaining law and order in America?

Not only do conservatives have to fight against liberals' soft-on-crime policies right her in America, the Mexican government is making things difficult as well!

Breitbart.com is reporting the last injustice to stand in the way of achieving peace through law and order in America:

"A Mexican judge with a history of questionable rulings ordered the release of one of the leaders of the Gulf Cartel."

The criminal was facing extradition to America. It's now going to be a LOT harder for American authorities to track this guy down on the streets than it would have been to just have him held in Mexican custody.

Breitbart continued:

The alleged crime boss is fighting a slew of charges and extradition to the U.S. However, thanks to the ruling, he was granted his release on bond. This particular cartel boss has a history of suspicious releases where authorities have dismissed his prior cases on technicalities. He has a pending criminal indictment in the U.S. filed by the Department of Justice.

Mexican federal judge Gregorio Salazar recently ruled in favor of Jose Alfredo "El Contado" Cardenes, who is reported to be the leader of the Escorpiones faction of the Gulf Cartel.

Judge Salazar decided that "federal prosecutors had not proven the cause for the requested extradition and that he was not a flight risk, so he did not need to be held in custody."

This is despite this being the THIRD time El Contador had been arrested by Mexican authorities.

The most recent occasion was in "2022 in the border city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, on state charges. In the other two prior arrests, one in 2019 and one in 2018, Mexican federal judges suspiciously dismissed his charges."

Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time this judge has been questioned for his curious rulings.

Many suspect that Judge Salazar is on the payroll of at least some of the criminals he is releasing.
