Melania Trump Creates Buzz with Dress at Carter’s Funeral

This week, President Jimmy Carter was laid in repose, with Thursday being the main service.

All of our living past and present presidents attended, including Donald Trump with Melania.

When Melania walked into the room, the internet just about blew up.

The Buzz

You would have thought this was a fashion show with the way people were treating Melania’s appearance at the funeral.

She was wearing a black Valentino trench dress, which featured a very dramatic collar that had an abstract print on it.

Social media, as I stated earlier, blew up with comments, with her followers calling her “regal” and “elegant.”

Donald and Melania Trump were sitting next to President Barack Obama, with Michelle Obama noticeably absent.

It was funny because Trump and Obama were clearly having an enjoyable conversation, which seemed to irk Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff, who were seated directly in front of them.

Trump was shockingly complimentary of Carter after his passing, stating, “The challenges Jimmy faced as President came at a pivotal time for our country and he did everything in his power to improve the lives of all Americans.

“For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude.”

Prior to Biden, Carter has been characterized as the worst modern-day president.

I have stated something similar to Trump before that Carter had some major challenges, but he also made some very bad decisions that contributed to that mess.

Carter, however, made his true legacy after leaving office as one of the greatest presidential philanthropists this country has ever seen.

His legacy, in my opinion, will be his work for Habitat for Humanity as well as the diplomatic role he served in several presidencies when called to help.

Rest in peace, Mr. Carter.
