Megyn Kelly Obtains Pages of Texts Between Defense Attorney and Bradley

Fulton County DA Fani Willis has tried to make it out that Mike Roman's Defense attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, has been lying about her relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Roman, if you did not know, is a co-defendant in the Georgia RICO election case with Donald Trump.

Megyn Kelly blew that narrative right out of the water this week by obtaining and reporting on pages of text messages that were exchanged between Merchant and Bradley leading up to Bradley’s testimony in court.

Someone is Lying

During Bradley’s second day of testimony, it appeared that he tried to walk some things back, but these text messages make all three of them (Willis, Wade, and Bradley) appear to have perjured themselves.

Here is the segment from Kelly’s show addressing the text messages that she had obtained…

So, clearly, Bradley sounded like someone who had all the details, even admitting that it was crazy that Willis decided to hire someone for the case that she had been dating for some time.

The story gets even more interesting from Megyn Kelly’s perspective because she got stiffed on getting credit for the exclusive.

Both CNN and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) reported on the texts without giving Kelly credit for the scoop.

Kelly immediately called out both outlets on X, posting, “We await your update to your late evening reports.

“You can cite us as first with texts in the #FaniWillis case. Not only did you not have an ‘exclusive,’ it took you all day to match our reporting.”

AJC responded, “As our readers know, our reporters have been covering this story for the past two years, including independently obtaining and verifying the text messages directly from our sources, which we did not portray as exclusive.”

CNN did change the text of the online story to give Kelly credit for the scoop after her complaint.

If Willis is found to have perjured herself, she will not only be removed from the case, but I would suspect there will be an ethics complaint filed with the bar to try to have her license revoked.
