Media Refers to Michelle Obama as ‘Fantasy Candidate’
The speculation about Joe Biden being replaced as the Democrat candidate started long before Joe ever decided to run.
Liberals were hoping and praying that Michelle Obama would announce that she was going to run.
That hope apparently has not died down, as the media continue to refer to Michelle Obama as the “fantasy candidate” for Democrats.
Our Fantasy
Democrats whined about Joe Biden running for office almost as soon as he took office.
Yet, when the primary race came around, they rejected Kennedy and Phillips and overwhelmingly supported Joe Biden to run again in 2024.
As polling started to crash and it became apparent that Biden was not all there mentally, the calls for Michelle Obama to get into the race grew louder.
The only problem was that Michelle had zero interest in giving up her posh lifestyle and moving back into the White House.
So, while Michelle gave her speech, talking about how her parents don’t trust rich people, even though the Obamas have a nine-figure net worth, the media continued to gush over the idea of Michelle running for president.
For instance, an article on The Hill stated that “she will give the crowd a glimpse of the party’s fantasy candidate.”
Even the right was obsessed with her, with dozens of conservative pundits predicting that she would enter the race (for the record, I stood firm from day one that she would not enter the race).
Roger Stone often suggested that Biden would be replaced, and the Democrats would draft Michelle Obama as his replacement.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is also among those who took the bait, stating several weeks ago, "I put the odds of Biden not being on the ballot in November at about 80 percent. I think the Democratic Party is freaking out right now ... They're terrified that he's going to lose in November. And so now they're willing to dump him.
"And if and when they dump him, I think their replacement nominee will be one of two people: It will either be Michelle Obama, or it will be Kamala Harris.
"Ten months ago, I predicted they were going to push Joe Biden out and replace him with Michelle Obama. That may still prove to be the case."
Michelle was always the media’s choice and she has always led polling, but she never once hinted that she was even considering running.
So, to that point, they got it right… she was the fantasy pick.
