Donald Trump’s former Press Secretary has some advice for him.
Trump is just dying to announce that he is running for office again.
His plan was to announce on the 15th, but McEnany wants him to wait.
She would prefer he wait until after the Georgia runoff election so everyone concentrates on that race.
Stay Focused
When Trump was campaigning, he tended to talk about himself just as much as the candidates.
This was actually a point of contention, as some believe he was taking the focus away from the candidate and the election.
McEnany, while discussing the runoff election, stated, “Every ounce of Republican energy, every last ounce needs to go into that Georgia race because it could potentially be what makes or breaks the Senate.
“Getting Herschel Walker over the finish line, I know there’s a temptation to start talking about 2024, no, no, no no, no. 2022 is not over.
“Every Republican energy needs to go to grinding the Biden agenda to a halt and that could go straight through the state of Georgia.”
Co-host Harris Faulkner asked, “Does that include Trump?”
McEnany responded, “I think he needs to put it on pause, absolutely.
“Look, he’ll make that decision, he’ll make his own decision, but if I’m advising any contender, DeSantis, Trump, whomever, no one announces 2024 until we get through December 6.”
The funny thing about Georgia is that Walker is probably best served to have Trump stay away.
Trump is not liked in Georgia at all, so an appearance there could hurt Walker more than help him.
