McConnell Says GOP House Should Avoid Impeaching Joe Biden

I don’t like Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and today I like him even less.

McConnell just warned House Republicans against impeaching Joe Biden, reported Breitbart.

Now, to be clear, I am already on record saying it would be a waste of time, but that was not McConnell’s excuse.

Good of the Country

Let me tell you how sick I am of the phrase, “for the good of the country.”

All we heard during the 2020 cycle was, “We need to elect Joe Biden for the good of the country.”

We need to come together as a nation for “the good of the country.”

Does anyone reading these words really think McConnell, Biden, or about 75 percent of Congress is really worried about the good of the country?

In a New York Times interview, McConnell stated, “I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing.

“Impeachment ought to be rare. This is not good for the country.”

McConnell is on cahoots with Biden up to his neck, and he does not want to see his buddy impeached because of Biden goes down, the entire system goes down.

Now, I would be all for impeachment if I thought they could pull it off, but Democrats have the Senate, so the impeachment would stop there.

Without a full conviction, the media writes off the impeachment as a political stunt and all it does is cost the American taxpayer money, which is my concern.

I have stated that I believe real crimes were committed, so wait until Biden is out of office and the GOP takes back the White House, then have a special counsel investigate the Biden family and issue indictments for any crimes that are uncovered, which is a far better use of taxpayer money.

Good for the country… does anyone really believe this country will come together on the political front and act like human beings to one another anytime soon? I know I don’t, so McConnell can stick that “good for the country” line where it does not shine.

The days of reasonable debate are over for the foreseeable future because Democrats will not allow any Republican candidate to be portrayed as a good person anytime soon.

Ron DeSantis is a racist, Tim Scott is a race traitor, Mike Pence is a religious zealot, and the list goes on and on and on.

If Democrats ever get back to issues over personality, then maybe we can start to talk about the good of the country again. Until then, please, Mitch, shut up.
