McCarthy Finally Broaches Idea of Impeaching Biden

When Speaker McCarthy (R-CA) first grabbed the gavel, I got the general impression that he was very hesitant to impeach Joe Biden in the House.

This is a futile effort simply because the Democrats control the Senate, which means they will never get enough support to convict Biden during a Senate trial.

Now, however, McCarthy seems to be taking a different stance, reported Axios.

Impeachment Inquiry

This is a tough subject for me because I honestly believe that Joe Biden should be impeached, as well as DHS Secretary Mayorkas and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

I am not one to condone wasting taxpayer dollars, however, and that is what an impeachment would be since we can never get the Senate conviction.

McCarthy was rolling along those same lines, but he seems to have changed his stance.

Monday night, while appearing on “Hannity” on Fox News, McCarthy stated, “When Biden was running for office, he told the public he has never talked about business. He said his family has never received a dollar from China, which we prove is not true.”

He continued, “We’ve only followed where the information has taken us. But Hannity, this is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry, which provides Congress the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed.

“Because this president has also used something we have not seen since Richard Nixon: Use the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight.”

McCarthy concluded, “I believe we will follow this all the way to the end, and this is going to rise to an impeachment inquiry — the way the Constitution tells us to do this — and we have to get the answers to these questions,” reported The Hill.

The White House, of course, regurgitated the same garbage line it has been saying all along, with spokesperson Ian Sams, again, stating, “Instead of focusing on the real issues Americans want us to address like continuing to lower inflation or create jobs, this is what the @HouseGOP wants to prioritize. Their eagerness to go after @POTUS regardless of the truth is seemingly bottomless.”

If the GOP does vote to impeach Biden, there are two things to consider.

First, it will get Democrats in the House and Senate on record for supporting Biden’s corruption.

Second, and this is probably the most important… will all media outlets cover the impeachment, or will networks like CNN and MSNBC just choose to ignore it, which means the entire left will never see a second of the evidence presented against Biden.

If we are assured the networks will cover this, it just might be worth the futile exercise so the American people on both sides of the aisle can finally see what Joe Biden is all about.
