Mayorkas Denies Turning Down Additional Security Requests from Trump

After the assassination attempt against Trump, as I had stated in other reports, a lot of reports started to surface, and it was hard to tell what was true and what was not true.

For instance, one report had the Secret Service sniper being fired and coming out to say he was never given the go-ahead to shoot, shot on his own, and then got fired, which I figured was bunk from the outset.

The report about added security, however, was posted by Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL), who claimed he had reliable sources, but the report was denied by Mayorkas.

Who Is Lying

Well, I cannot even say that Waltz is lying if his sources were wrong.

Waltz posted on X, “I have very reliable sources telling me there have been repeated requests for stronger secret service protection for President Trump. Denied by Secretary Mayorkas.”

We have all seen how these unnamed sources have been debunked plenty of times over the last decade, so unless I have someone willing to on the record, I don’t believe it.

As Waltz noted, Mayorkas immediately denied the report, stating, “That is an unequivocally false assertion.

“We keep a very close watch on a very dynamic threat environment. The president, the former president, are commonly consistently under threat. We take every single threat seriously.

“We make security adjustments as are warranted. We had enhanced security for the former president beginning at least in June.

“We have not received any requests for additional security measures that were rebuffed. That assertion is unequivocally false.”

But then again, Mayorkas is a serial liar, so what we really need here is for Waltz to put a name on his source, then show us a paper trail of the requested services.

I can tell you this, if Mayorkas is lying again, I would suspect the GOP will go after him with both barrels.

If, on the other hand, Waltz put this report out without verifying the information, his career could be over.
