Liberals want 87,000 new IRS agents to be combing through Americans files.
The vast majority of Americans do NOT want this.
Americans know the federal government needs 87,000 LESS spies, not more.
Mark Meckler, the president of the Convention of States Action group said recently the hiring 87,000 new IRS agents would spell disaster for this country, and voters know it:
"The idea of hiring 87,000 new IRS agents actually is pretty terrifying to most Americans. You know, you get that note in the mail that says you’re being audited or whatever. It’s not a good day you get a call from the IRS."
The federal government should be HELPING American citizens, not enlisting 87,000 new soldiers to force Americans into giving the government more money.
Americans know who these 87,000 new agents were going to be targeting. It's not the big boys at the top like Amazon who are already in the government's pocket. It's the middle class Americans still hanging on to a shred of hope that America can one day be as great again as it once was.
Even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy knows somebody has to stand up for the middle class.
It's NEVER going to be the IRS' job to do that. In fact, it's quite the opposite.
"House Republicans just voted unanimously to repeal the Democrats’ army of 87,000 IRS agents," McCarthy said. "This was our very first act of the new Congress, because government should work for you, not against you. Promises made. Promises kept."
