Marianne Williamson Suspends Her Campaign

Another presidential candidate who never should have bothered to enter the race has decided to drop out, this time on the Democrat side.

Longshot candidate Marianne Williamson suspended her campaign on Wednesday.

Even in a very limited field, Williamson failed to make it to double-digit support in the primary.

Time to Go

After Biden had an overwhelming win in Nevada, Williamson decided to call it quits, not even putting up an inch of resistance against Biden in the primary race.

Upon suspending her campaign, she stated, “Sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too.

“And so today, even though it is time to suspend my campaign for the presidency, I do want to see the beauty.”

Williamson has always been a bit of an odd character, and she has targeted the DNC from the outset, which was not helping her case.

To that point, before the primary started and it was clear the DNC would not make Biden debate other candidates, she stated, “The DNC acts like a hand forcing a lid over the will of the people. Smears, erasure, leaving anyone but Biden off ballots.

“All manipulation to make sure their candidate is the only one considered. And we will lose.”

At 71, she was not really an alternative to Biden’s weak spot, his age and mental decline, but Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) is, and he is not faring much better.

When you consider that most polling found that more than 70 percent of voters wanted someone other than Biden, yet Biden pulls down about 90% of the vote, it just does not make sense.

Democrats do not want Biden, yet they overwhelmingly pull the handle for him. It is as though it is the party of zombies that can focus on only one thing at a time.
