GOP Billionaires Lining Up To Back Trump

Former President Donald Trump just got a HUGE win!

Now, President Joe Biden is likely in shock.

The same Republican millionaires and billionaires that turned their backs on Trump after the protests that took place on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, have now returned to the former president.

One of those Republican billionaires is Nelson Peltz.

It didn’t’ take long for Peltz to turn on Trump after the riots, even famously APOLOGIZING for previously supporting the president at the time.

However, it seems Peltz has seen the light and came back to Trump.

The two even had a meal together!

Kathryn Wylde, the Partnership for New York City's CEO, says this pattern of the rich Republicans returning to Trump is “inevitable” if the former president keeps performing well in the race.

“If it starts to look like Trump may win, despite his legal troubles, it is inevitable that Republican businesspeople who have not been fans will open their wallets in self-defense.” Wylde said.

However, according to a senior employee of the Tax Policy Center, Steven Rosenthal, there’s another for this pattern of the rich returning to Trump.

“The billionaire class is really threatened by Biden: These guys are about creating a dynasty of wealth for themselves, and hoarding it for their posterity, at the expense of everyone else in society,” Rosenthal said.

The return of the rich could not have a better time -- Trump is facing massive obligations in the form of legal fees, and the donations would be much appreciated.

One of Trump’s spokesmen, Steven Cheung, says they are already preparing financially for the future of the campaign.

“We are not only raising the necessary funds, but we are deploying strategic assets that will help send President Trump back to the White House and carry Republicans over the finish line,” said Cheung.
